heike pitschmann a performance artist studying at hfg karlsruhe, zkm(university of art and design karlsruhe, zkm /germany) stood in front of the vatican from 04-18-05, the beginning of the election for the new pope, until the end of the election, the 04-19-05. she sang "i want to have a female pope" three times per day for 21 minutes, at 07:00 am, 02:00 pm and at 09:00 pm.
